How do I prevent NVIDIA app from 'optimising' my resolution.
I think the only way to fix it would be to disable optimization in general. Instead of using nvidia optimized settings you could probably just skim a digital foundry video for the optimized settings list if you don’t want to get into the wacky world of optimizing the settings yourself and, god forbid, just play the video game.

Because this is not just close to release stuff, some might be like 2025 or 2026 easily (for example something like Xcom 3 while Solomon team is finishing another game for 2022?). Aug 5, 2022 · I uninstalled everything "Nvidia", removed the driver via Device Manager (right click on video card, uninstall, check the box that says also uninstall driver), removed all folders in program files and appdata, removed temp, etc. etc. etc. and STILL I get the same message, this HAS to be on their end, especially with all of the threads in the past days on on this sub alone.
