Aug 26, 2016 · From 1909, Ford started using the logo changed from "Ford Motor Co." to "Ford" and the 1909 logo doesn't have the pig tail on the F. The first photo you have presented is the closest to the 1909 logo, the second photo doesn't look like any of the logos that I could find and the third has more of an oval on the F than a pig tail.

In fact, the oval has always been weird to me because the ford logo was basically the Chevy logo, but the sides were not slanted, but straight up and down. If you look at his full signature, and take the last name, THAT is the original Ford logo before these mandela changes. If you read articles about how the ford logo was created, it was "henry Ford's signature embedded on a blue emblem" Well, his signature doesn't have a loopy thing on the F or a cut at the top of the O.

Pre-Mandela effect Ford logo? This is a cam pulley from an early Transit, as you can see, the 'F' has no squiggle, the stamp has clearly got an elongated '~' shape with NO downturn at the end.
