Sep 1, 2023 · Often it's not worth splitting for you if they become vulnerable to someone on the other side of the map, and especially if they're solo with bots you can often get away with stealing a cell from them here and there. Keeping one smaller cell to virus farm is good as your largest cell never has to split. Eat bots.

Mar 20, 2022 · yeah. We even have one player that uses his bots whenever someone is also using bots or multiple player cells with one user. He's like our protector lol, though if all of us decent players are on, we could take down a bot user ourselves lol.

There was a time when players were creating bots to feed them, but they're almost always very small and obviously cluster toward one location. As of now (as well as since the game's release in 2015,) the vast majority are real players.

Cell.sh bots are temporary.. and they only fill the one purpose of acting as real player substitutes until there are more real players. Every time a real player joins, two bots disconnect. As for agar.io, they've described bots as the most atrocious things and I doubt they would incorporate AIs into their own servers just to fill them up.

Aug 7, 2015 · Bots are very linear. They cannot predict human behavior, its irrationality and group thinking. If a 100-mass Aposbot spots a 5000-mass blob, it runs frantically from its detected split range, not knowing that the 5000-mass blobs are hardly interested in 100-mass blobs.

Jul 14, 2018 · I think bots are good, but not for the same reasons. At large enough mass (40k) things start getting really weird, mainly due to autosplits. In general I think Agario is at its most fun when the dominating player has a modest 10k or so mass. The real effect bots have on the server is it makes it easy for new players to get big.
