Clairo's father - as I have heard from numerous sources from those who knew him in his youth - is a Donald-Trump like figure who is fraught with greed, power, a void that can only be filled with currency (the teenager with a new red convertible every year - no this isn't an analogy). I think this persona can be summed up by his career.

Jun 24, 2021 · I think gender norms. Certain music is labelled as "girl" music and other music as "boy" music. Clairo is "girl" music. Don't get me wrong; this is a bullshit idea, but unfortunately it's true for a lot of people -- they think certain music is for boys and other music is for girls.

Clairo is one of the mellowest musicians I heard of. Before I knew who she was, a guy on youtube was texting celebrities and Clairo was the only one to respond. It just built a lasting impression on me, I love Flaming Hot Cheeto
