Trump called Stargate the “largest AI infrastructure project, by far, in history.” OpenAI said in a press release that Stargate is a “new company which intends to invest $500 billion over the next four years building new AI infrastructure for OpenAI in the United States,” adding that it will begin deploying $100 billion “immediately.”

OpenAI, SoftBank Group, Abu Dhabi, and Oracle are among the players in a joint venture meant to pour hundreds of billions more into AI data center funding.
