Aga Khan’s funeral service held in Portugal ahead of private burial ceremony in Egypt
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Spain’s King Emeritus Juan Carlos were among the dignitaries who attended Saturday’s private ceremony for His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini at the Ismaili community center. The late Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV, who died Tuesday in Lisbon, Portugal is set to be laid to rest Sunday in Aswan, Egypt. According to a statement issued on February 6, by Diwan of the Ismaili Imamat, the event will be preceded by a funeral ceremony on Saturday at Ismaili Centre in Lisbon.
