Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was the best-selling game of January 2025 in the U.S, continuing the title's dominance since it first launched last October. That's per the latest report on Thursday from Circana executive director and analyst Mat Piscatella.

When Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 first burst onto the scene, the major complaint regarding the fans was its completely overhauled movement mechanics called Omni-movement. This new movement scheme absolutely threw players all over as it was pretty tough to control. With this new system, players can slide in any direction they want, even backward.

Black Ops 6 fans would like a classic map from Black Ops 1 to make a return, but it’s probably not the Call of Duty map you’d immediately think of.

Warzone priorities are currently gameplay tuning, quality of life improvements and squashing bugs, as such, there isn't a whole lot in the way of fresh content beyond a new perk.
