Tiger Woods announced Monday morning he was withdrawing from the 2025 Genesis Invitational tournament at Torrey Pines in San Diego.

Saying he is “just not ready,” golf superstar Tiger Woods announced Monday morning that he will not play in the Genesis Invitational this week at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Woods had committed last week to play in the Genesis, where he serves as tournament host. His decision to play came just days after Woods announced his mother, Kultida, had died.

The tournament benefitting Tiger Woods’s foundation was moved from Los Angeles to San Diego due to the wildfires.
