Three wildfires broke out in quick succession overnight and into early Tuesday in northern San Diego County, California.

There are no evacuation orders in place now for the Eaton and Sepulveda Fires in LA County, the Clay Fire in Riverside County or the Laguna Fire in Ventura County. Evacuation orders were in place for areas near the Laguna Fire but have since been changed to evacuation warnings, according to Cal Fire.

The devastating wildfires are being fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds. At least five schools were evacuated on Wednesday with students running away from campus. People said the last two weeks have been exhausting. Heavy rains are expected next week.

More than 50,000 people in Los Angeles are under mandatory evacuation orders after the Hughes Fire erupted near Castaic in California. NBC News’ Dana Griffin reports on the red flag warnings in place across southern California.
