Devin Booker will take the Phoenix Suns' all-time scoring record having already developed a deep connection to the team and city.

The NBA decided to change the All-Star game format this year with a four-team mini-tournament in which TNT’s Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal will have a draft and select three eight-man teams from the 24 All-Stars. The Rising Stars champion from Friday will be the fourth team.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst took the team to "Get Up" to talk about Durant's trade market and the possibilities, and he mentioned Booker as the only safe player on the Suns. "The only thing I can tell you for sure is that tomorrow afternoon, Devin Booker will be on the Suns," Windhorst reported. "I think that's the only guarantee."

The Phoenix Suns will honor Devin Booker becoming the franchise's all-time leading scorer as they play the Utah Jazz on Friday at Footprint Center.

In his 10th season with the Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker is officially the team's best scorer ever. Entering Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Booker needed just 23 points to surpass Walter Davis for the most points scored in Suns history. Davis accumulated 15,666 points throughout his 11-year career in Phoenix from 1977 to 1988.
