The Dallas Cowboys have hired former Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams to be the team's new offensive coordinator.

The Cowboys also considered Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, Falcons tight ends coach Kevin Koger and Lions running backs coach Scottie Montgomery for the job before hiring Adams. Adams takes the job left by Schottenheimer’s promotion after he was elevated to the head coaching position following two seasons as the team’s OC.
