Ford is recalling more than 240,000 examples of its Explorer SUV, as well as Aviator SUVs from its Lincoln luxury arm, due to improperly secured seat belt anchor bolts.

Ford Motor Company is recalling 240,510 SUVs in the United States due to concerns that some vehicles may have improperly secured seatbelt anchor bolts, according to an announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Friday.

This recall affects many more vehicles, though, covering 240,510 Ford Explorers and Lincoln Aviators from model year 2020 to 2021. The vast majority of these SUVs are Explorers, since just 23,947 Aviators are included.

The company is currently recalling certain model years of its Expedition SUV and Super Duty pickup truck, along with a small number of the Corsair SUV from Ford’s luxury Lincoln line, due rearview camera failure, with over 72,000 potentially affected vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
