Two sick patients suspected to be infected with Ebola were taken from an Upper East Side urgent care to the hospital by first responders in hazmat suits Sunday morning, law enforcement sources

Now, in an update, the investigation has led to a suspected norovirus infection as “the illness had spread quickly between family members,” sources said to the Post. It has not yet been confirmed that it is the norovirus. The patients had gone into the City MD when the scare sparked their urgent transfer.

A Manhattan urgent-care scare sparked Ebola fears, but it turns out the patients were dealing with the much less deadly norovirus instead.
