Publicis — which last year overtook WPP as the largest agency in the world based on revenues — has won Coke’s media business in the US and Canada following a competitive tender, according to three people familiar with the deal. WPP has failed to fend off Publicis to retain the North America media brief as the pitch comes to a conclusion.

Publicis Groupe has won The Coca-Cola Company's US and Canada media account from incumbent WPP following a closed review. According to Comvergence, Coca-Cola’s US media spend was $785 million (£607m) in 2024, up from $610 million (£471m) in 2023.
