Ben Simmons opened a new chapter with the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, practicing with the team for the first time after being waived by the Brooklyn Nets last weekend.

"I felt wanted, and that’s something you want to feel," Ben Simmons said. "When you go to work and you want to compete at a high level."

Ben Simmons has joined the LA Clippers after agreeing to a contract buyout with the Brooklyn Nets. The No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft was officially waived by the Nets over the weekend. Simmons cleared the waiver wire before being signed by LA.
