Aston Villa will soon discover their Champions League round of 16 opponents and their route to the final. Unai Emery’s side qualified for the last 16 by finishing in the top eight thanks to a 4-2 win over Celtic on the final matchday last month.

The clubs that finished in the top eight of the league phase went directly through to the round of 16. They will be joined by the winners of the eight knockout playoff round ties, featuring the clubs placed ninth to 24th,

The draw for the next rounds of the Champions League takes place at 12pm CET (11am GMT) on Friday, 21 February at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will be streamed live on Uefa’s website.
