The organization that oversees school sports in Wisconsin voted Wednesday to ban transgender girls from girls’ competitions. WIAA Executive Director Stephanie Hauser said the vote by the Board of Control put it in compliance with federal directives that only students who were female at birth can participate in girls' sports.
