WASHINGTON — The US Senate has confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Kennedy, squeaked by in a mostly party-line vote of 52-48, with former Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell being the lone opposing GOP vote.
Kennedy Jr.'s nomination to serve as secretary of Health and Human Services was narrowly confirmed by the Senate on Thursday.
