A teenage boy is suspected in a school shooting Wednesday in Nashville that left 1 dead and 2 others injured before he turned the gun on himself.

Solomon Henderson arrived at the school on a bus and is believed to have gone into the restroom and retrieved a pistol.

The deadly shooting is the latest to rock the Nashville community nearly two years after another school massacre sparked a debate for gun reform.

Metro Police Chief John Drake says they’ve found warning signs of the shooting that could’ve stopped it if someone had alerted them.

MNPD’s Don Aaron reports that one girl is dead, and the shooter, a 17-year-old boy, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
