The Trump administration said Saturday it will levy 25% import tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada, with Canadian energy products facing a 10% tariff. The announcement also includes an extra 10% tariff on imports from China.

President Donald Trump signed an order to put tariffs on U.S. neighbors Canada and Mexico, as well as China, starting Tuesday.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau set out "far-reaching" tariffs of 25%, affecting 155bn Canadian dollars' worth ($106.6bn; £86bn) of American goods ranging from beer and wine, to household appliances and sporting goods.
