A SWAT team has been deployed to a northeast Austin neighborhood, where a person is barricaded inside a residence, police said.The Austin Police Department said

Residents were ordered to shelter in place Sunday after SWAT was called out to south Austin. The order has since been lifted.

APD says the barricaded subject is now in custody. The subject was involved in a family violence situation and experiencing a mental health crisis according to APD. The scene is not far from Dessau Middle School,

Drivers are asked to avoid the area since some roadways may be blocked off.
